King Saud University (KSU) in Riyadh has achieved a new global milestone by becoming the world’s largest dental hospital, with a total area of 37,165 square meters, and entered into the Guinness World Records.
This achievement confirms the university’s commitment to providing healthcare services, supporting medical education, training programs and scientific research, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The university’s Medical City provides treatment services through its three campus hospitals and eight affiliated centers of excellence. The development projects of the university’s Medical City and the expansion of its medical network help to meet the needs of patients and the local community.
Previously, the university’s Medical City was ranked among the top 250 hospitals in the world. According to this year’s Financial Brands ranking, the university’s Medical City ranks 64th in the world and third in the local area.
The university’s dental hospital is one of the world’s leading dental hospitals, providing comprehensive education, training, surgical and consultative services in various specialties, such as cleft lip and palate clinics, dentistry for special needs and autism patients, oral and maxillofacial pain clinics, and pathology laboratories for oral, facial and jaw diseases.
