DEXIS, the global leader in dental imaging, is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at IDS 2025 in Cologne, Germany.
DEXIS will be showcasing its latest technologies, integrated into the DEXIS Digital Ecosystem. The AI-powered platform connects every digital process step from diagnosis to treatment delivery. This integrated solution combines artificial intelligence, 2D and 3D imaging, intraoral scanning, diagnostic analysis, and treatment planning to help dental offices streamline processes and increase productivity.
“We are very excited to give attendees a sneak peek at our latest technologies at IDS,” said Robert Befidi, President of DEXIS. “All of our innovations are designed to improve patient interaction and help dental offices become more efficient and effective. We are also looking forward to bringing these products to dental professionals and demonstrating their powerful application capabilities.”
Among these innovative technologies is an exciting new development in the DEXIS intraoral scanning product line. Visitors will be able to get a sneak peek at the new intraoral scanner that DEXIS is developing – Imprevo. This device has a new stylish appearance, redesigned hardware architecture, and AI-driven algorithms, and will become the new high-efficiency flagship in the DEXIS IOS product line.
In addition, DEXIS will also preview the latest version of its intraoral scanning software IS ScanFlow – IS ScanFlow 2.0. The new version adds a new feature, “Smile Visualizer”, to assist dental professionals in showing patients realistic smile simulations before and after treatment, helping patients to better understand and accept treatment recommendations.
DEXIS will also release an updated version of ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH™ OP 3D™ EX, which will add the Cephalometric Imaging function in the future. This new cranial mode uses the patented ORTHOceph™ Plus design of DEXIS, and will support clinically required protocols including lateral and pediatric lateral cranial images, anteroposterior images, and carpal bone photography, and has the advantages of fast scanning time and low dosage.
Additionally, DEXIS’ 3D imaging product line will add the Automatic Dose Control feature to the ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH™ OP 3D™ LX. This feature automatically sets exposure parameters based on the patient’s anatomy to achieve optimal image quality and radiation dose control.
Early users have responded enthusiastically to this feature, including Dr. Katya Archambault from San Diego Health Center, who said, “The new Automatic Dose Control feature is one of the few things in my life that I don’t have to doubt. It not only improves image quality, but also makes it more consistent. I can’t fault the results.”
DEXIS will also showcase several new features of its digital ecosystem core software, DTX Studio™ Clinic. DTX Studio Clinic is known for its comprehensive integration of various patient data formats, which can effectively simplify the diagnosis process, patient communication, treatment planning and surgical guide creation.
One of the highlights of this new feature is a set of tools designed to optimize the implant treatment planning process. Users can now quickly complete implant planning at chairside and automatically generate surgical guides in less than 3 minutes. In addition, the software has also introduced an “Assisted Implant Planning Module” to automatically establish preliminary implant positioning, and a “Face Scan Integration Tool” can combine facial scans with 3D X-ray images to further improve the accuracy and efficiency of treatment planning.
Visitors will also have a sneak peek at the innovative features that will be launched in future versions of DTX Studio Clinic. These include an AI-driven root canal treatment feature that visualizes the root canal structure in 3D, helping to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment efficiency. In addition, an upgraded version of the Focus Area Detection Tool will be on display, which not only enhances the visualization of the tooth area in intraoral X-rays, but also automatically identifies eight additional dental symptoms.
DTX Studio Clinic will also launch a new cloud solution to help clinicians connect clinics and integrate all data on the same platform. This feature is designed to improve team collaboration efficiency, simplify clinic workflows, and thus optimize operations and patient care outcomes.
These technological advances demonstrate the future trend of dental technology, making DTX Studio Clinic an indispensable core component of modern dentistry.
DEXIS cordially invites all IDS attendees to visit booth K050 / L069 in Hall 11.2 to experience the innovations crafted by DEXIS first-hand. A professional team will be on hand to provide live demonstrations and answer questions.
With more than 165,000 solutions in clinical use worldwide, DEXIS continues to set the industry standard for dental imaging quality and reliability.
