As one of the youngest prefecture-level cities in Sichuan, Ziyang has made a small tooth into a 10 billion industry. The “National Conditions Education Study Class and Academic Exchange Activity for the Medical Sector in Macau” organized by the Macau Medical Sector Federation started the China Dental Valley Exploration Tour this afternoon to learn about the advanced technology and products of the Dental Valley and feel the level and innovative power of the development of China’s oral industry.
Ziyang takes “Smiling China, starting with teeth” as its development concept. Since the construction of China Dental Valley was launched in October 2016, it has been nearly eight years, and has experienced the practice of “from scratch, vigorous development, and continuous transformation”.
130 well-known Chinese and foreign enterprises settled in China Dental Valley
At present, China Dental Valley has 132 well-known domestic and foreign enterprises settled in, including Aichi Technology, Yingweida, Borndent, Smarta Group, etc. 325 “Ziyang-made” products of 58 production enterprises have been put on the market, with more than 60 kinds of dental equipment in four categories and more than 100 kinds of dental materials in five categories, with complete categories and complete systems.
In 2024, China Dental Valley achieved an output value of 3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.8%. It is expected that by 2025, there will be more than 200 settled enterprises with an output value of more than 10 billion yuan, more than 50 national brand enterprises will be cultivated, and more than three listed companies will be established, basically building a world-renowned “industry-university-research-sales-medical-care” full industrial chain China Dental Valley.
The delegation members visited the China Dental Valley Planning Exhibition Hall and saw the development of China’s characteristic oral industry through a small tooth, especially oral digital impression instruments, oral maxillary cone beam computer tomography (CBCT), oral microscopes, dental comprehensive treatment machines and other products, showing the results of the digital transformation of the oral medical industry.
The scale and strength of China Dental Valley shocked the delegation members. It brings together many advanced oral enterprises and cutting-edge technologies to form a complete oral equipment material industry chain. Its efficient operation model left a deep impression on the delegation members. They believe that it not only reflects the industrial advantages of China Dental Valley, but also demonstrates the competitiveness of China’s oral industry in the world.
Huang Junjie, vice president of the Macau Medical Federation, said that he believed that by strengthening cooperation between the two places, resources can be shared, advantages can be complemented, and the level of oral medical services can be jointly improved. He hoped that the two places would carry out broader and deeper cooperation in oral technology research and development, talent training, clinical application, etc., and jointly contribute to the cause of oral health.
