Dr. Davina Prida has always had a deep passion for design, an interest that originally led her to pursue a career in design in New York. However, life took a different turn, and today, Dr. Prida channels her creative instincts into designing stunning smile makeovers as a general and cosmetic dentist. Specializing in dental crowns, veneers, dental implants, and bridges, Dr. Prida now combines her artistic vision with dental expertise to transform her patients’ smiles.
With more than two decades of experience in the Dallas area, Dr. Prida is the sole practitioner at Inwood Village Dental. Her practice offers comprehensive general and cosmetic dental care, with a strong focus on patient comfort and utilizing the latest advancements in dental technology. Dr. Prida’s unique approach to smile makeovers sets her apart from many of her peers. She takes an extra step in the process, sculpting temporary restorations on her patients’ teeth before sending a 3D scan to the lab for final fabrication. This meticulous, hands-on step elevates the final result, ensuring a more natural, beautiful smile.
“I wanted more customization in cosmetic dentistry,” Dr. Prida shares. “When I began sculpting the design myself, it allowed me to make every detail more precise and tailored to each patient’s natural smile.” Her artistic eye helps her create smiles that not only look beautiful but retain the unique personality of each patient’s teeth. “Cosmetic dentistry can turn back the clock by at least 10 years,” she says, noting how rewarding it is to witness patients regain their confidence through their new smiles.
Dr. Prida is deeply committed to both her patients and her community. She is an active member of the Texas Army National Guard, where she also volunteers her dental services. Having raised her children in the area, she is proud to serve the community that has supported her throughout her career. Dr. Prida is a graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where she continues to refine her skills and expertise in the field.
