More than 165 residents of Sabo community in Mokola, Ibadan, recently received free dental care, including checkups, scaling and polishing, and oral hygiene education. This initiative, sponsored by SIFAX Group and executed by the University of Ibadan Association of Dental Students (UADS), brought much-needed dental services to an underserved population, while also promoting dental hygiene awareness.
In a statement, SIFAX Group’s Corporate Affairs Manager, Muyiwa Akande, highlighted the company’s ongoing commitment to community development and healthcare accessibility. He explained that the 2024 Mega Outreach, supported by SIFAX Group, reflects the company’s dedication to improving healthcare access for disadvantaged communities.
Akande further noted that UADS managed critical aspects of the outreach, including organizing logistics, securing the venue, procuring necessary medical supplies, providing personal protective equipment, and arranging transportation to ensure the smooth delivery of services.
