Ayesha Dental Clinic, led by Dr. Salman Aminwala, in collaboration with ClearPath, organized a highly successful dental camp at Montessori Complex High School (MCHS). The event, which screened 500 secondary students from classes 8, 9, and 10, was a great success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of Smiles NGO and MCHS Alumni, who volunteered to help ensure smooth operations and interactive educational sessions.
The camp featured a range of engaging activities designed to teach students about the importance of oral hygiene in a fun and memorable way. One of the most popular attractions was the darts game, where students aimed at targets resembling cavities to win 60% discount vouchers for dental treatments. Additionally, a tongue twister challenge brought a mix of entertainment and oral health education, further reinforcing the importance of maintaining healthy teeth.
ClearPath, a leading provider of dental aligners, played an important role by showcasing modern orthodontic solutions, particularly the benefits of Invisalign clear aligners. Students gained valuable insights into how clear aligners can effectively address malalignment issues, providing a glimpse into advanced dental care options.
The camp also included an educational session led by dental professionals and volunteers, who discussed key oral hygiene practices. Topics covered included proper brushing and flossing techniques, the benefits of mouthwash, cavity prevention strategies, and how to manage dental emergencies such as toothaches or injuries. This session empowered students with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their dental health.
In recognition of the school’s support, Dr. Salman Aminwala presented an appreciation shield to the principal of Montessori Complex High School. Volunteers were also awarded certificates to acknowledge their contributions to the success of the event.
