Chris Strandburg, known to Bachelor Nation fans from his time on Season 11 of The Bachelorette, is taking a bold step in his career. The Los Angeles-based dentist, who owns his own practice, has announced that he is transitioning into orthodontics.
In an Instagram post celebrating the new chapter, Chris shared his excitement about being accepted into the University of Oklahoma’s orthodontic specialty program. “A new adventure begins! I’m grateful to have been accepted into my first-choice program at the University of Oklahoma!” he wrote, accompanied by photos of him in a University of Oklahoma shirt.
Chris expressed that while leaving his life in Los Angeles behind is bittersweet, he is thrilled about the new direction his career is taking. “Closing this chapter in Los Angeles is bittersweet as I say goodbye to great friends and leave behind incredible memories,” he reflected. “But I’m so excited to expand my passion for helping people achieve beautiful smiles and optimal health. I look forward to learning from the talented faculty and residents at OU.”
He also took a moment to express his gratitude for the support he’s received from friends, family, and fans. “A huge thank you to everyone who supported me with their time, effort, and advocacy — I couldn’t have done it without you!”
