The CQC report highlighted that the practice provides both safe and effective care, with staff being described as caring and responsive to patient needs. However, the inspection also noted some areas for improvement in terms of leadership. Specifically, the report mentioned issues with monitoring and assessment practices. Despite this, the inspectors assured that the concerns would be followed up and that any shortcomings were likely to be resolved, minimizing the chance of recurrence in the future.
The feedback from patients was overwhelmingly positive, with 45 patients offering their views. The report cited numerous compliments, with patients praising the practice for its friendly and attentive staff, excellent service, and personalized care. Notable comments included “lovely staff, fab service,” “best dentist I’ve ever had,” and “first class service.” Patients also appreciated the standards of cleanliness, the ability to book timely appointments, and the clear, informative guidance provided about treatment options and associated costs.
Inspectors also praised the practice for maintaining a clean and well-maintained environment, ensuring that hazardous substances were properly labeled and stored, and fire exits were clearly marked. Additionally, they noted that the staff possessed the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to perform their roles, with systems in place to keep dental professionals up to date with evidence-based practices.
Overall, while the CQC report identified some minor areas for improvement in leadership, the practice’s commitment to patient care and safety remains clear.
