Last summer, singer Robbie Williams underwent a dramatic smile makeover, and at 50 years old, he couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Sharing his excitement on Instagram, he expressed: “I feel confident, and I’m experiencing a new vitality that I’ve been missing. I got a new smile.”
Reflecting on his old teeth, the “Better Man” hitmaker revealed his decision was long overdue. “We’ve been through a lot together. But now it’s time to move on. Goodbye, my little nubby-yellow friends. They served me well, but I absolutely abused them,” he admitted. Williams went on to list the ways he mistreated his teeth over the years – from using them to open bottles, to espresso stains, to neglecting proper brushing, and even clenching his teeth for decades.
Despite knowing he needed a change, Williams was surprised by how quickly the transformation happened. “I went for a consultation, and imagine my surprise when I came out with a full set of brand-new teeth. I [expletive] love them,” he shared, clearly thrilled with the results.
One concern Williams had before his procedure was that he didn’t want the stereotypical “TV teeth” look. He didn’t want a smile that appeared artificial or overly perfect. Fortunately, his wishes were met, and his new teeth look naturally flawless. Fans have since praised his new smile, commenting: “Looking fab and super natural,” and, “Those are great gnashers!! Very you! And you’d never know they weren’t your proper teeth if you weren’t so honest.”
Before the makeover, Williams often avoided showing his teeth while smiling, but now, with his new set of teeth in place, he’s been smiling wide and often. In fact, he’s been openly sharing that he’s relearning how to smile again.
So, what exactly did Robbie have done to his teeth? We turned to Dr. Sepideh Jalali, a dentist from Tooth Club, for her expert opinion. “Robbie’s new teeth look incredibly natural because they’re in perfect harmony with his face,” Dr. Jalali explained. “The size is just right—not too big or bulky, which is a common mistake in cosmetic dentistry. The shape and thickness match the contours of his lips and mouth.”
Dr. Jalali also noted that the subtle shade of Robbie’s teeth contributes to the natural appearance. “He avoided the ultra-white shade that’s often seen in cosmetic work. His teeth have a softer, more natural white tone, which adds to the realism. Unless you compare before and after pictures, you might not even realize they aren’t his original teeth.”
In summary, Robbie Williams’ smile transformation has given him a newfound confidence, with a look that’s both natural and vibrant—proving that the right cosmetic dentistry can make a lasting, positive impact.
