Swami Ramdev’s Dental Struggles 33 Years Ago
During the discussion, Swami Ramdev shared a personal story from 33 years ago, when he faced a dental issue that was diagnosed as Pyorrhea, also known as periodontitis. This condition, a bacterial infection of the gums and bones, can result in tooth loss if not treated.
Swami Ramdev recalled visiting a well-known dentist who cleaned his teeth but told him that there was no permanent solution for Pyorrhea. The only advice given was to maintain regular oral care. Following this, Ramdev began using Dant Kranti Manjan, a powdered herbal solution designed to promote oral health, which helped improve his dental condition over time. Eventually, this herbal formula was developed into Dant Kranti toothpaste.
Swami Ramdev also shared that his mother, who had similar dental issues, successfully used Dant Kranti Manjan and later its toothpaste to restore her oral health.

Pressure Control: Gradually increase pressure while brushing, especially on the gums, to avoid damage. Do not apply excessive force.
Gentle Brushing: The brushing process should involve moderate vibration rather than fast, rough strokes to prevent harm to the gums and teeth.
Clean the Gums: At the end of your brushing routine, gently stroke the gum area to remove any remaining dirt.
Use Dant Manjan: To keep gums healthy and prevent gum bleeding, incorporate a natural Dant Manjan in your routine.
Evening Brushing is Crucial: Swami Ramdev emphasized that brushing before bedtime is more critical than brushing in the morning. However, if you skip morning brushing, a simple mouthwash before breakfast can suffice, followed by a thorough brushing afterward.
