Godley Station Dental (GSD) has welcomed Dr. Joseph E. Brown, III, as its newest associate dentist. With over 16 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Brown brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to the practice, further enhancing its commitment to exceptional patient care.
A native of Florence, South Carolina, Dr. Brown earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine, in Charleston. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Charleston. His professional journey includes tenure with Howard Dental Group and Morrison Dental Associates, as well as seven years of service as a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
Dr. Brown is recognized for his specialized training in Invisalign treatment, short-term orthodontics, Botox, and dermal fillers. He also holds the distinguished certification of Diplomate from the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines, underscoring his commitment to advanced patient care.
“I get the opportunity to make people smile and alleviate their pain,” Dr. Brown shared. “I enjoy the constant evolution of dentistry and learning new techniques; no two days are ever the same.”
Beyond his professional contributions, Dr. Brown is actively involved in his community. He volunteers as a youth athletics coach for soccer, futsal, baseball, and basketball, and serves as treasurer of the board for the Jenkins Athletic Club. A member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Southeastern District Dental Society, Dr. Brown resides in Hardeeville, South Carolina, with his two sons, Jeb, 11, and Lawson, 9.
