JoJo Siwa is embracing her new, bold look — complete with a stunning set of veneers. The 20-year-old singer and dancer, known for her youthful persona and her role as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance, recently revealed that she spent a whopping $50,000 on her cosmetic dentistry procedure.
Siwa shared the news during a TikTok posted by Buzzfeed News at the GLAAD Media Awards in March, where celebrities disclosed their most expensive fashion pieces of the evening. Holding a microphone, Siwa proudly declared, “Most expensive thing I’m wearing… My teeth. These motherf**kers cost me 50 grand.”
The cosmetic work was done by renowned Beverly Hills dentist, Dr. Kevin Sands, back in 2020. In July 2023, Siwa opened up about her decision to get veneers during a livestream. Dr. Sands also shared a video from the experience, thanking Siwa for trusting him with her smile.
“I’m not ashamed of it, I love my smile,” Siwa said in the video, showing off her new teeth. “A lot of times, people are ashamed of veneers or don’t want people to know that their teeth aren’t real, but they’re a part of me.”
This new look marks a departure from the bubblegum persona Siwa was once known for. Earlier this month, she spoke with ET about transitioning into a more adult chapter of her career as she approaches her 21st birthday. Reflecting on the shift, she acknowledged the challenge of balancing her young fan base with her evolving identity.
“I’m not the same person I was when I was 14,” Siwa explained. “This now is 20-year-old, 21-year-old, here for a good time JoJo. Let’s be honest, let’s be real. Let’s make some art.”
As she steps into a new era of her career, JoJo Siwa is embracing change, unapologetically owning her transformation — both in her appearance and her music.
