Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, the co-founder of the infamous Black Mafia Family, was released from prison two weeks ago and appears to be fully embracing his newfound freedom. Recently, he showcased a significant change in his appearance, particularly through a dental transformation.
On Sunday, 5 Star Smiles, a dental practice based in Miami, Florida, posted a video on Instagram documenting Big Meech’s journey to a new set of veneers. The office’s caption featured a quote from Meech: “It’s time to smile again!” The video highlights the intricate process involved in his dental work, while the clinic addressed negative feedback regarding the procedure, emphasizing that they first addressed other dental issues before fitting him with veneers.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Big Meech was moved to a residential reentry program in Miami after serving almost two decades in prison. He was convicted in 2008 on charges of drug trafficking and money laundering, and during the height of the Black Mafia Family’s operations, the organization is believed to have generated over $200 million. Meech’s legal troubles began with his arrest in 2005, which led to a 30-year sentence. His story has also been captured in the popular series “BMF,” featuring his son, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory Jr.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons indicates that Big Meech’s official sentence is set to conclude on January 27, 2026. Until that time, he will remain under the supervision of the transitional facility, but now he can do so sporting a refreshed smile.
