Sandhills residents now have access to specialized oral surgery and implant services with the grand opening of VISTA Oral Surgery & Implants. Situated at 11220 U.S. 15-501 in Aberdeen, this state-of-the-art facility welcomed its first patients on October 22, expanding its comprehensive service offerings to the Moore County community.
Previously operating as Spring Lake Oral Surgery for over a decade, the practice has undergone rebranding and relocation to provide enhanced services in its new Aberdeen home.

Dr. Arnold brings a wealth of experience to VISTA, having served as an oral surgeon in both military and civilian settings. His journey began at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, followed by military service as a U.S. Army officer, where he completed his Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Fort Gordon’s Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center.
His career has taken him to Germany, where he treated military personnel from various regions, including Europe, Iraq, and Afghanistan, at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. He also served as a surgical mentor at the San Antonio Military Medical Center and held the position of Residency Program Director for the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Program at Fort Liberty before retiring from the Army.
Excited to lead the VISTA team, Dr. Arnold remarked, “My family and I have lived in Moore County for the past eight years. We love this community and are thrilled to provide a vital service here. We appreciate the warm welcome and look forward to being a part of this community for the long haul.”
In addition to Dr. Arnold, the Aberdeen office will staff a full team, including a practice manager, three dental assistants, a treatment coordinator, and a nurse. The practice will also feature VISTA Sleep Solutions, a specialized service managed by Dr. Rebecca Fronheiser, focusing on treatments for sleep and jaw joint disorders.
Equipped with the latest advancements in oral surgery, such as 3D digital X-rays and digital lab services, VISTA ensures that patients receive top-tier care. Among their specialties is the “All on X” treatment, a full-arch dental implant solution designed for minimally invasive smile restoration. IV sedation options are available to enhance patient comfort during procedures.
