She further cautions, “These at-home kits are often designed as ‘one size fits all,’ lacking customization for individual dental needs. This can increase the risk of gum burns or damage to tooth enamel, potentially resulting in serious dental issues such as heightened susceptibility to tooth decay and gum disease.”
