At present, in the case reports of the clinical application of implant dentures in the past, there is no unified, operable and successful evaluation standard that can be in line with international standards. At the first national implant denture seminar held in Zhuhai in 1995, with reference to foreign advanced experience and the actual situation in our country, experts put forward the following evaluation criteria for successful oral implantation through full discussion:
(1) The implant does not have any clinical activity under the condition that it supports and retains the denture function. Function is good.
(2) No persistent and/or irreversible mandibular canal, maxillary sinus, nasal fundus damage, pain, numbness, paresthesia and other symptoms after implantation, and feel good about themselves.
(3) Radiological examination showed that there was no opaque area in the peri-implant bone interface.
⑷The bone resorption in the vertical direction does not exceed 1/3 of the length of the part implanted in the bone when the implant operation is completed (displayed by standard projection method X-ray). The transverse bone resorption did not exceed 1/3, and the implants were not loosened.
⑸ Gingivitis can be controlled. There were no implant-related infections.
⑹ No damage to the supporting tissues of adjacent teeth.
⑺ beautiful.
⑻ chewing efficiency of more than 70%.
Failure to meet any of the above criteria will not be considered a success. According to the above standards, the five-year success rate should be over 85%, and the ten-year success rate should be over 80%. An implant system or a unit performing implant denture treatment meets the above criteria in order to be considered eligible for this business.
The above evaluation criteria for the success of implants show that the Chinese stomatology community accepts and agrees with the osseointegration theory proposed by Professor Branemark of Sweden, and is consistent with the mainstream of the international implant academia.
