AMAC, the Association of Mature American Citizens, proudly introduces the AMAC Liberty Dental Plan, a tailored dental insurance program designed specifically for its two million members. In collaboration with Ameritas, the plan addresses the unique needs of older Americans by focusing on essential dental services not covered by Medicare, such as dentures, crowns, implants, and bridges, while excluding less relevant services like fluoride treatments and braces.
“Our members spoke, and we listened,” stated Carl Hohsfield, Sr. Vice President of AMAC’s Senior Resources Network. “This new dental plan fills a critical gap in coverage for seniors, ensuring access to the oral care they truly need.”
The AMAC Liberty Dental Plan features two coverage levels—Basic and Elite—both offering no waiting periods for basic and major services alongside a low annual deductible. Preventive services, including exams, cleanings, and x-rays, are fully covered, while essential treatments like fillings and extractions are also included. The Elite plan further enhances coverage by adding dental implants. Members can also opt for affordable vision and hearing plans to complement their dental benefits.
