Entrepreneur and Roc-A-Fella co-founder Dame Dash is embracing a recent viral moment after inadvertently revealing he’s missing several front teeth during an Instagram Live session. The incident occurred when his diamond grills unexpectedly fell out, but rather than being embarrassed, Dash is owning the mishap.
The moment gained widespread attention after Dash’s grills popped out while he was sipping a drink during an Instagram Live, which soon became a topic of discussion across social media. However, Dash addressed the situation in a follow-up IG Live, showing he wasn’t fazed by the incident.
Interestingly, it was rapper 50 Cent who may have indirectly sparked this viral moment. On September 4, Dash took to Instagram Live to challenge 50 Cent to a “CEO war,” following comments the “Many Men” rapper made during his appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, where he stated that Dash was broke.
In his response, Dash compared his own streaming service, American Nu Network, to 50 Cent’s Action Network, positioning the two platforms in direct competition. However, during the live broadcast, Dash’s diamond-studded grills fell from his mouth just as he was about to take a sip from his drink. Maintaining composure, Dash quickly turned the camera away to adjust his teeth.
Later, Dash leaned into the light-hearted nature of the moment, posting the clip himself and laughing off the incident. In a playful caption, Dash wrote, “My diamond grills popped out because that’s what happens when you’re broke,” poking fun at 50 Cent’s earlier comments.
