In an alarming incident in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, retired school principal Mayadevi Gupta uncovered a disturbing find—a set of false teeth embedded in a piece of chocolate. Gupta, who volunteers with a local NGO, received the chocolate as a gift for a child’s birthday. The incident, reported by India Today, took a bizarre turn when Gupta noticed an unusual crunch while eating the chocolate. On closer examination, she discovered that the crunchy object was actually a set of four false teeth.
Gupta, who had received the chocolate from a student at the NGO’s birthday event, initially assumed it was a coffee-flavored treat from a well-known brand. However, the unexpected texture prompted her to investigate further, leading to the shocking revelation.
Following the discovery, Gupta promptly reported the incident to the Khargone district Food and Drug Department. HL Awasiya, a Food Safety and Drug Administration official, confirmed that an inquiry is in progress. A team has been assigned to investigate the matter, and samples from the shop where the chocolate was purchased are being analyzed in a laboratory.
