James Littleover, 37, has endured five years of dental agony after two dentists failed to properly address his decaying teeth, leading to extensive treatment and limited eating ability.
Despite multiple fillings, his condition worsened, prompting him to seek a second opinion. A new dentist revealed that he still had untreated decay and diagnosed him with a high risk of cavities, resulting in a series of treatments.
James, who has been compensated £23,000 for the dental negligence, expressed his dread about future procedures: “I’ve been in agony for so long, and I know I face more pain with extractions.” He has been forced to rely on the right side of his mouth for eating, following years of ineffective treatments.
