This weekend, three dedicated Calgary sisters are making Neighbour Day especially meaningful by offering their professional services to those in need.
Linh, Belinda, and Katherine Le, all practicing dentists, will provide free dental care on Saturday, June 15, at their clinic, Le Family Dental, located in southwest Calgary.
“I’m just glad we’re able to volunteer and help out anyone who needs any help,” said Belinda Le, expressing her enthusiasm for the initiative.
The Le sisters are driven by a desire to uphold a family legacy of community service.
“My dad came from Vietnam in 1980 as a boat refugee,” Linh Le shared. “Canada has been so good to our family, and my dad has always encouraged us to be kind and to give back to the community.”
Patients at Le Family Dental, such as Max Kahler, have praised the sisters for their community spirit.
“I think it’s awesome,” Kahler remarked. “It’s a little bit tough out there right now for a lot of people, so I think it’s a great thing they’re doing to give back.”
