HONESDALE and LORDS VALLEY, PA — Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) have announced that both of their dental facilities, the Together For Health Dental Center in Honesdale and Pike Dental Center in Lords Valley, are now accepting new pediatric and adult patients. This expansion is made possible by the recent recruitment of Dr. Allison Sujin Yu, D.M.D.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Yu to our team,” said Nichole Yannone, the dental manager at WMCHC. “Her addition allows us to broaden our general dentistry services to a larger community.”
Dr. Yu earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her residency in general dentistry at Einstein Medical Center. Before joining WMCHC, Dr. Yu practiced in Luzerne and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania.
Appointments are available at both dental centers. To schedule a visit at Pike Dental Center, call 570-775-7818. For the Together for Health Dental Center, call 570-521-6534.
WMCHC operates as a federally qualified health center and is clinically affiliated with Wayne Memorial Health System. The centers accept most private insurance plans, managed care plans, and medical assistance. Additionally, they offer a sliding fee scale based on income for eligible patients.
