In the context of the legal proceedings involving Amanda Cosway, a woman aged 59, a community order lasting 12 months has been issued as a repercussion for her participation in the theft of teeth whitening products valued at £210. These products were unlawfully taken from the Newport Orthodontic Centre, where Amanda Cosway was employed at the time of the incident.
Despite her initial assertion of innocence through a plea of not guilty, she later opted to change her plea, admitting her involvement in the theft and acknowledging her actions as an employee of the center. The theft itself occurred over a period spanning from July 31, 2019, to September 1, 2019.
Residing in Dinch Hill in Undy, Monmouthshire, Amanda Cosway has been directed to make amends by paying a compensation fee amounting to £210. In addition, she has been instructed to cover supplementary expenses totaling £500, in addition to a surcharge of £114.
When combined, these financial obligations add up to a total sum of £824. In order to fulfill these responsibilities, Amanda Cosway will be following a predefined schedule of monthly payments, each set at £70. The initiation of these payments is scheduled to begin on September 30.
