T.I. has joined in the good-natured banter surrounding his son King Harris’ recent dental work.
During an interview with DJ Diamond Kuts on Saturday (August 19), the Atlanta rap legend discussed his son’s dental procedure when the topic came up.
While T.I. defended his son’s decision, he couldn’t help but inject a bit of humor into the conversation.
“He said he wanted his teeth done, he put his money up, stacked his paper, and he got his teeth done,” T.I. began. “I respect and celebrate the process he went through to get them done. So, when I saw him, I was congratulatory. I was like ‘Hell yeah, man. They’re white!’”
One of the comedians in the room then chimed in, jokingly comparing King’s teeth to Garfield’s. This caused everyone, including T.I., to burst into laughter.
T.I. continued, “So, I said, ‘They’re white, man. They’re nice!’ Because the dentist did a good job. I’m giving him props and his mom walks in, and the first thing she says is, ‘Why the hell are they so damn big?'”
The room erupted in laughter again as the jokes kept flowing. One comedian even suggested that they accidentally gave King his father’s teeth.
T.I. humorously pointed out, “But you all have to understand, he’s a growing boy, he’s going to grow into them!”
The laughter continued when King was playfully referred to as “Teeth Keef” and “Teeth Sweat,” prompting T.I. to burst into hysterics.
However, T.I.’s young daughter wasn’t amused and fearlessly defended her brother, saying, “Don’t talk about my brother like that,” into the mic after tapping her father on the shoulder.
King Harris had recently unveiled his new smile and had even responded to online trolls who had criticized his new veneers. In an Instagram video, he brushed off the negativity, saying, “Calm down, bruh. Your girl ain’t going anywhere. I don’t want her.”
Despite his response, fans still flooded his comments with playful remarks about his new teeth.
