Porcelain veneer refers to a restorative method in which a thin layer of porcelain prosthesis is fixed on the lip and cheek of the affected tooth with adhesive materials under the condition of no or little tooth grinding, so as to restore the defects affecting the appearance and cover the discoloration.
It is easy to be accepted by patients because it has less stimulation to the dental pulp, stable and beautiful color, good biocompatibility, abrasion resistance, and is not easy to stain and attach plaque.
