1. Porcelain teeth
It is to grind off the original teeth and put a layer of porcelain crown on it. At present, the closest cosmetic restoration method to natural color is to fix the porcelain teeth. The veneer can be divided into ordinary resin veneer and porcelain veneer. The principle is to put a veneer on the surface of the tooth after grinding part of the tooth, which can not only keep the shape and size of the tooth the same as the normal tooth, but also can cover the color and repair the defect. The disadvantage is that teeth grinding is required, which many patients cannot accept.
2. Cold light whitening
The operation process of the cold light whitening method only takes 30 to 40 minutes. The low temperature cold light completely avoids the stimulation of the tooth nerve during the operation. The main component of the whitening agent is hydrogen peroxide, which has been used safely in tooth bleaching for decades. During the whitening process with hydrophilic YAO and no contact with the gums, it will not cause any damage to the tooth structure and enamel. Cold light whitening has a one-time, non-irritating, and no side effect whitening effect that can last for more than two years, so it is recognized as the most effective and safe teeth bleaching and whitening technology.
3. Teeth cleaning
For some patients with pigment deposition on the teeth, such as smoke stains or drinking strong tea or coffee, a simple tooth cleaning can restore the original whiteness of the teeth. There are two types of teeth scaling. One is the common ultrasonic scaling. For patients with less severe pigmentation, ultrasonic scaling can solve the problem. However, for patients with severe pigmentation, sandblasting is required. Sandblasting is a further cleaning of the teeth with specially formulated salt sand and high pressure water. Sandblasting can improve the gloss of the teeth, but sandblasting can cause some scratches on the surface of the teeth. If the doctor does not give the patient a thorough polishing, the pigmentation can easily coat the tooth surface again.
